Review guidelines
Reviews on radar.dating are written by people who used the apps and services in the catalog. We want them to help you choose, so a moderator reads every review before it goes live.
How it works
- Anyone who signs in with an email code can write a review. One review per product: you can edit or delete it in your account under “My reviews”.
- A rating from one to five stars and 80 to 3,000 characters of text. Pros and cons are optional.
- Your review is signed with the name you chose. We never show your email.
- An edited review goes through moderation again and is hidden from the site until a moderator approves it.
- The average rating from radar.dating users is based on published reviews only and is shown separately from the app store rating.
What we don't publish and what we remove
- Spam. The same text under different products, meaningless word salad, rating manipulation.
- Insults or abuse.Profanity, insults, threats and harassment — aimed at people, the product's team or other reviewers.
- Not about the service.A review should describe your own experience with this product, not dating in general or another product.
- Advertising.Links, promo codes, invitations to channels and promotion of your own services.
- Personal data.Other people's names, photos, phone numbers, addresses or messages — and your own contact details too.
Product owners
A verified owner can't rate their own product. Instead, the team can reply once to each review — publicly, under the review, marked “Response from the team”. Replies are moderated too. Owners can't edit or delete other people's reviews.
Reports
If a published review breaks these rules, click “Report” under it and choose a reason. A moderator will either keep the review or remove it, and the author gets an email with the reason.
We don't take money for reviews, don't remove reviews at a product's request and don't edit their text. We can only publish a review as is or decline it for one of the reasons above.
